Some really good horror / weird stories here. My favorites were the opening story ”When God Opens A Door” (imagine the intermingling of pleasure and pain à la Clive Barker’s Hellraiser), an imagining of what heaven can be, and what can be heavenly. I also liked ”Zombie Dreams” (I’m usually not too fond of zombies, but this one had a nice twist), ”Extern” (featuring a twisted hospital where people are tortured instead of healed), ”’Til Voices Drown Us” (maybe the best story of the collection; a tale that manages to be both sad, scary and hopeful) and ”The Tongue Is The Sweetest Meat” (a tale of going back in time and changing the one you were and the disastrous results that follow). Overall a solid collection.
